Commonly available paper textures quickly reveal pattern loop markers when scaled, but most Paper Texture Company textures can be tiled a lot more due to their “minimal patterning” design.

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

How many paper textures do I get?

There are currently 43 Paper Textures with a new one added on average every week. For example: Some weeks none, some weeks three. 

Can I download them all in one file?

Not at the moment, and it’s very unlikely they will ever be available like that. There are too many formats, sizes and resolutions that they wont fit in one file, or even several and it’s just impractical to manage them all in multiple sets. 

That’s why you get access to the entire library and can download the exact resolution and format you want when you want it. On demand.

What if I don't like them?

You can try the 1K Jpeg textures as well as the 1K Procreate Art Surfaces for free if you register. That should give you a very good idea of what they are like.

If you buy them and still don’t like them for any reason, let me know in an email within 30 days and I will give you your money back!

Do they work with my app?

They come in multiple formats. Jpeg for all, and many of them are also available as Photoshop PSD and/or .procreate files.  

  1. JPEG, which works in every art app there is. These are flat , single layered files. You can use them as Overlay layers on top of your artwork to   
  2. Photoshop Art Surfaces. These are large Photoshop templates that add surface texture lighting and shadow to your artwork layer(s) live, as you paint in them. They also magically scale to any size you make them and have multiple Layer Comp styles (Standard, glossy and Subtle) 
  3. Procreate Art Surfaces. These are multi-layered Procreate files that are templates that add surface texture lighting and shadow to your artwork layer(s) live, as you paint in them.
  4. Clip Studio Paint. You can import the PSD files into Clip Studio Paint and they will work. CSP doesn’t support the magical auto-scaling or instant looks via Layer Comps that Photoshop supports, but you will get the paper texture template. 

For any other apps, you can use the 1k, 2k or 4K jpegs.

What is the resolution, the actual size?

Each digital paper comes in at least 3 different resolutions. 

4k: 4096 x 4096 pixels, 34.67 cm, 13.65 inches at 300 dpi
2K: 2048 x 2048 pixels, 17.32 cm, 6.82 inches at 300 dpi
1K: 1024 x 1024 pixels, 8.63 cm, 3.4 inches at 300 dpi
